Partner Dr. Alexander P. Imberg Presented at Upcoming DRI Webinar

On September 10, 2008 CBM partner Dr. Alexander P. Imberg co-presented a webinar titled Taking Depositions in Foreign Jurisdictions. The webinar, sponsored by the International Law Committee of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), was designed to help litigators understand what to expect with taking or defending depositions of foreign nationals in foreign jurisdictions, in particular China and Germany. In addition to discussing the formal requirements of the Hague Evidence Convention as applied to signatory countries, Dr. Imberg taught participants the practicalities of preparing their client or witness for deposition under international law and treaty.
