Litigation

  • Prior to relocating to the U.S. and joining CBM in 1998, Dr. Imberg practiced in Germany where he represented clients in general civil and commercial litigation matters. Since then, he has focused his practice on U.S. commercial, products liability and intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of German and other European manufacturers in U.S. courts.
  • Dr. Imberg represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has tried major U.S. cases to verdict and, where appropriate, resolved matters through the means of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), i.e., arbitration and mediation.

Litigation Coordination/Risk Management

  • Dr. Imberg serves as national coordinating counsel for one of Germany’s leading automobile manufacturers. He also counsels clients in the area of product safety, preventative product liability, and risk management.

Renewable Energy/Clean Tech

  • In the area of corporate and commercial law, Dr. Imberg represents, among others, European renewable energy companies in establishing subsidiaries and conducting business operations in the U.S. He also assists his clients in complex commercial transactions and contract negotiations.
